POSITION OPENING

ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

The Swanton Joint Legislative Body is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Zoning Board of Adjustment for the Town and Village of Swanton.  The Zoning Board of Adjustment meets on an as-needed basis on Thursdays, typically once monthly.  Members of the Zoning Board of Adjustment are paid a stipend for meeting attendance.  The Zoning Board of Adjustment reviews and acts upon applications for building permit variances and conditional use permits.  They also hear all appeals of zoning violations and decisions of the Zoning Administrator.
